We've spent a lot of time learning about our state's government. We were so excited to get to visit Olympia and see the branches of government and explore our capital for our first field trip. Please reflect on the blog about your favorite part of the day and one thing you saw that you had learned about in class.

I enjoyed learning about how the Senators and the House of Representatives vote differently in the Legistlative Branch. I also had a lot of fun eating a yummy lunch with my friends.

I had lots of fun looking at all the cool things at Olympia. I never new there was a Govners manchin.

One important I thing I learned was that in the earthqauke when the scouts were at the top of the capital and how they got free. Also I enjoyed the mock court.

My favorite part of the day was when we had free time and got to go with our group leaders around the capital.I liked when we went to Christine Gregoires mansion. We saw the House of reprasentatives, Senate and we learned all about those things in class.I also had fun being in the courtroom and listening to the story.
