We've been using Excel with graphing and formula tools in the computer lab. Please find an adult (it could be a parent, babysitter, neighbor, or someone else) that uses Excel for either their work or at home and report back to the class the way that this person uses this software. It will be fun to see the way that people use this program outside of school! Please use your best writing skills and complete sentences or your comments will not be accepted. Happy interviewing!

At school I use excel for students' report cards, the assignment check-off list, field trip forms, and to record and analyze data for our whole school like test scores. At home I use it to keep track of my bills and expenses. I asked Joe and he uses it everyday at work in huge documents with billions of numbers. I like my job better!

No one in my family uses Excel so in a real life situation I would use Excel for organizing a budget. I would also use it for making a shopping list and figuring out how much money I am spending each time I go shopping. well that's what I would use it for. By the way, Mrs.Pietraszewski try making a blogging project for The Big Wave.

When I asked my mom if she uses excel and in what way do you use it she said she uses it all the time. She make graphs, rate analysias,and pie charts.I personally think that that sounds really boring,but I don't think she has a choice. I didn't know that you actully used excel in real life. Guess i was wrong!

My dad uses excel for making baseball lineups (batting order and positions)and charts
(orgnizing stuff.) I guess excel is useful.

My dad uses Excel for keeping track of his budget at work and also for keeping trak of a large lists of items that he manages and reports against.

I asked three people if they used exel and two people said No but the one person who said yes uses exel for tracking budget flow that person is my dad and every time that I come into his Office I see him working on exel so the main thing he uses is exel and if I were working on exel I would use it for checking how much money I get each month so I see how it change through the year and then I would add up every months money and see how much I would get in one year, thats how I would use exel.

My mom uses excel for charts for when we go on trips. On excel she writes what each person need for the trip. My mom puts our names at the top then in that line she writes what we need on the trip.

Sorry I'm late but my mom uses Excel all the time. Some things she uses it for keep track of cells she makes, and to calculate pricing for customers.
